About
Tanja Kraus is an equine educator and author based on the East Coast of Australia. Her passion lies in kind horsemanship philosophies, using connection and feel to develop true partnership between horse and rider. Tanja has helped riders from many different disciplines build a better connection with their horses.
Over the years, Tanja has successfully competed in dressage, western events and showing, and more recently at the Cowboy Dressage World Finals and Top Hand events in the USA.
Her students come from a wide range of disciplines, including Classical Dressage, Cowboy Dressage, Ranch Riding, Reining, Campdrafting (Australian Cow Working), Showing, Endurance and Working Equitation.
Known for her patient, kind and thoughtful teaching style, Tanja has helped many riders regain confidence in both their horses and themselves. As a result, they’re now enjoying competition, relaxed trail rides and beach rides with reliable, willing horses. Her philosophy focuses on developing horses and riders to be in tune, more flexible, supple, strong, athletic and confident together.
At each clinic, you’ll explore how to develop your horse, yourself, and your partnership through clearer communication. Clinics may include written theory, rider biomechanics, ground exercises and ridden work.
